Overview
Trick Me AI is designed from the ground up to keep your data private. The app does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to Destry Teeter or any third party. This policy explains exactly what the app does — and doesn't — do with your data.
Data we do not collect
Trick Me AI does not collect any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Your location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us
- Advertising identifiers or tracking data
- Any data used to build a profile about you
On-device processing
Trick suggestions are generated entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. No request is sent to an external server or third-party AI service. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app falls back to locally stored catalog data — still entirely on-device.
Camera and microphone
The app requests access to your camera and microphone solely to record skating attempts at your direction. Video is saved to your local device storage. No video or audio is uploaded to any server. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings at any time.
iCloud sync
If iCloud is enabled on your device, the app syncs your trick log, favorites, and reviews across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit. This data flows through Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy and is accessible only to you and your devices. Destry Teeter does not have access to your iCloud data.
iCloud sync is optional. If iCloud is unavailable or disabled, the app operates fully from a local cache on your device.
Sharing
The app includes an optional feature to share your favorites list with friends or your crew via iCloud sharing. Sharing is initiated by you, share links are controlled by you, and no favorites data is stored by Destry Teeter.
Third parties
Trick Me AI does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker services. No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party for any purpose.
Children
Trick Me AI does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, it is suitable for use by skaters of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
